With over 15 years of experience designing and building custom playgrounds, I’m proud to live and breath the Park N Play Design mission of bringing inclusive play to the communities near me. From full turnkey park constructions to creating imaginative play spaces, I approach every project with a creative spirit (I consider myself a "Playologist" and a keen eye for detail, always paying close attention to budget, site conditions, and, most importantly, adding unexpected elements of fun.

The best part of my work? Seeing a park open after years of planning and watching kids explore, laugh, and play—it’s what keeps me passionate about equal play for all. I’ve designed over 300 unique projects in Northern Alberta and Northern Saskatchewan, never duplicating an experience because every community deserves something special. My dedication to the industry has been recognized with multiple award-winning projects across Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Outside of work, you’ll find me enjoying country music, spending time with family and pets, or listening to my favourite Dolly Parton tracks.  I’m also a proud fan of pink, and when I retire, I will drive off into the sunset in my dream pink Rolls-Royce.

My journey into sales started in a unique way—after MC’ing a wedding, a guest handed me her card and said, "If you ever want a job, give me a call." That chance encounter set me on the path to a career I love, where I now help build better communities every day. With over 13 years at Park N Play, I’ve had the privilege of working on countless projects that make a real difference.

I’m passionate about creating inclusive play spaces because I believe that much more connects us than separates us. Since learning about the power of inclusive playground design, I’ve become even more committed to the idea that when we build better recreation spaces, we’re building a better world. My presentations focus on inspiring change and making playgrounds accessible for all, something I’m deeply proud of.

Outside of work, you might find me enjoying a good laugh with colleagues, sharing stories from the golf course, or strategizing for my fantasy football league. I always bring my best energy to both work and play. I’m proud to be a part of Park N Play’s success in Alberta and look forward to continuing to make a difference in communities across the province.

As the Sales Representative for Saskatchewan at Park N Play, my focus is on helping communities invest in play spaces that bring people together. With over 15 years of experience as a traveling salesperson, I love building relationships and engaging in solution-based conversations to meet the unique needs of each client.

Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler and family-oriented, often spending time with my 4-pound Yorkshire Terrier! One of my biggest obsessions is collecting and building LEGO sets—from Star Wars and Harry Potter to Super Mario and the Botanical Collection, there’s always a new creation to tackle.

With a firm belief that play is essential to healthy human development, I’m passionate about helping communities create exceptional play spaces. As Territory Manager for Manitoba, I build strong relationships with clients, working closely to design custom playgrounds that meet their unique needs and inspire joy for all ages.

When I’m not collaborating on playground projects, you might find me cruising around in my 1971 MGB or exploring local playgrounds to see firsthand the impact of our work. I also escape the cold for part of the winter at my place in Barbados, where I recharge and dream up even more creative playground solutions.

With a career that began in the engineering and sales department of a major Ontario industrial fabrication plant, I’ve spent years honing my skills in sales, design, project management, and commissioning custom industrial machinery. As a Territory Manager at Park N Play, I bring a wealth of experience from my time managing commercial sales, repairs, parts management, and on-site builds for large industrial applications.

A graduate of Sheridan College of Applied Arts and Technology as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, I’m proud to use my expertise to help grow Park N Play’s presence across Ontario. I’m committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my three children, and hitting the golf course in the summer and the slopes on my snowmobile in the winter. I currently reside in Flesherton, Ontario, where I balance my professional and personal life with a love for the outdoors and good company.

Hi, I’m Lauren, and I’m thrilled to be the Southwestern Territory Manager for Ontario at Park N Play! While I’m relatively new to playground sales, being a mom to a toddler means I’m no stranger to playgrounds and parks—I’m at one almost every day! I love spending time outdoors, and getting to work with playgrounds daily is a dream come true. Who else gets to call playtime part of their job?

When I’m not out visiting parks or working with clients, you’ll find me on the golf course or seeking out a karaoke machine. Fair warning: if “Don’t Stop Believin’” starts playing, I will take the mic—I’m convinced I’m the missing lead vocalist for that song!

Equal parts campfire enthusiast and musical theatre lover, my career path has been anything but ordinary! From cruise ship entertainment to lumber sales, I’ve gained a unique set of skills that perfectly complement my role as Territory Manager for Eastern Ontario at Park N Play. I love collaborating with clients to bring innovative playground equipment and creative design concepts to life, making play spaces that inspire and engage communities.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the talented and dedicated team of playful professionals at Park N Play, where every day is an adventure in creativity and collaboration.

As the 3D Design Lead at Park N Play, I specialize in transforming 2D drawings into stunning 3D renderings, bringing our playground designs to life. With a background in Architecture Technologies from SAIT, I’m always pushing the boundaries to create realistic and engaging visuals that capture the imagination.

I live by the motto "Present, is present" and embrace every opportunity that comes my way. Whether it’s honing my skills in Kendo, rock climbing, or even trying my hand as a background actor for a Netflix series, I’m always up for an adventure. I believe in thinking outside the box and making each project unique and vibrant—because every play space deserves a little bit of magic.

I joined Park N Play in the fall of 2022 as a Playground Designer, bringing my passion for design to the great outdoors. After graduating from Cegep Garneau in Quebec with a degree in Interior Design in 2008, I worked with renowned firms in Quebec and a custom home builder in Alberta. Designing playgrounds felt like the perfect opportunity to blend my creative skills with the joy of creating spaces for play.

Art has always been a central part of my life—I have a Diploma in Art and Literature, and I love exploring museums, attending theatre plays, and experimenting with painting and textile arts. Music is also close to my heart; I grew up playing piano and violin, and my grandmother’s piano from Quebec now has a cherished place in my Alberta home.

When I’m not immersed in art, I’m chasing adrenaline! I have a passion for extreme sports, and there’s nothing like autumn for winding down in one of my hand-knitted sweaters. Whether it’s on the playground or in the studio, I’m always inspired by creativity and adventure.

I started as a Playground Designer at Park N Play in July of 2023, and I couldn’t be happier to be part of such an amazing company filled with great co-workers! Every day, I get to design fun playgrounds that I hope will bring joy to kids of all ages for many years to come.

I’m a small-town girl at heart, currently living on an acreage just outside of Champion, Alberta. I was born and raised on a farm not far from where I am now. Growing up, I was involved in various sports, including baseball, volleyball, basketball, and slo-pitch, and spent 9 years as a member of the Champion 4-H Beef Club. After high school, I went to Lethbridge College and earned a diploma in Engineering Design & Drafting Technology. I worked for several companies in Lethbridge before moving back to Champion in 2002 to raise my two boys. We spent our winters at the hockey rink and our summers at the baseball diamond, and I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything!

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, working in my yard, or relaxing by a campfire. I’ve recently taken up golfing again, and when I find time to relax, you’ll find me curled up with a good book or binge-watching a great Netflix series. I hope to travel more in the future, as my bucket list is long and full of adventures I can’t wait to experience!

As one of the designers at Park N Play, I get to combine my love for creativity and play every day! With a background in Interior Design, I’m passionate about crafting unique and engaging spaces that inspire joy and imagination. Originally from Guelph, Ontario, I moved to Calgary in the summer of 2023 and couldn’t be happier to call this vibrant city home.

When I’m not at my desk bringing playgrounds to life, you’ll find me exploring the great outdoors with my dog, Acorn, or working on my latest art project. I’m currently focused on pet portraits and paintings, capturing the personalities of furry friends on canvas. For me, every design—whether for a playground or a painting—is a chance to create something special and memorable.

As a designer at Park N Play, I specialize in creating custom and inclusive play spaces that inspire fun for all abilities. With two young children of my own, I have a deep appreciation for the importance of well-designed play areas and use that perspective in every project I work on. I’m passionate about making sure play is accessible to everyone, because everyone deserves a space to play and explore.

I have a background in construction, a degree in Architectural Technologies from SAIT, and I’m an amateur woodworker in my spare time. When I’m not designing playgrounds, you’ll likely find me on a bike adventure—my most memorable journey was an 8,000 km ride from Victoria, BC, to St. John’s, NL. Whether I’m crafting play spaces or tackling a new biking trail, I’m always up for a challenge!

With over 20 years of experience working with preschool children, I bring a unique perspective to Park N Play, understanding firsthand the importance of quality play spaces. Before joining the team, I worked for a small landscape company, adding to my diverse skill set. Originally from New Zealand, I moved to Canada at the age of 12 and have embraced the adventure ever since.

At Park N Play, I wear many hats—from setting up projects for the sales team and preparing quotes to assisting with RFPs and managing office tasks like arranging deliveries and ordering supplies. My favorite part of the job? Keeping the office lively with team-building games (Office Bingo, anyone?) and organizing special lunches to keep spirits high. If you call Park N Play, I’m likely the first voice you’ll hear, ready to help with a smile and an iced coffee in hand!

A kid at heart, I joined Park N Play in 2024 with a desire to join a team that was enthusiastic and imaginative about the play possibilities for future generations. As Proposal Coordinator, I utilize my background in project management and technical writing to present professional yet playful proposal packages to clients across Canada. Every project is different, and I see that as an opportunity for me to consistently adapt to new trends and shifting values; tying those together in a recreational environment that enriches the community surrounding our future playspaces.

Outside of work, I relax by watching sports and LOTS of movies. However, the vast majority of my free time I prefer to spend outside, which makes Park N Play a perfect home for me.

I’m a busy mom of four from Strathmore, AB, and when I’m not working or whipping up quick meals, you’ll likely find me camping with my family in Sundre. We love exploring the great outdoors and recently got into geocaching—it’s become our new family adventure! Whether we’re around the campfire or playing a game of Yardzee, as long as we’re together, I’m in my happy place.

Beyond family adventures, I’m passionate about photography and scrapbooking, always capturing the little moments that make life special. Now that the kids are older, I’m looking forward to traveling more and creating even more memories.

If I could have one superpower at work, I’d choose the typing speed of "The Flash" to breeze through documents and lend a hand to my coworkers—who wouldn’t want a little extra speed, right?

At Park N Play, my focus is on finding solutions and supporting the team. I collaborate with our design, marketing, and office teams to craft compelling RFPs and tenders, always aiming for seamless timelines and high-quality proposals, even under tight deadlines.

I have a degree in journalism and print media, and I’m a classically trained printer with a specialization in reduction printing. If you ever need a camera, I could probably build you one! When I’m not at the office, you can find me rock climbing, developing film from my latest photoshoot, or hanging out with my cat, Pipp. I also have a soft spot for Star Wars and craft beer—two things that, like a good proposal, are best enjoyed with passion and precision.

After 30 years in the Oil and Gas sector, I joined Park N Play as an Office Administrator, initially managing quotes and RFPs for Western Canada. Today, I'm the Service & Warranty Manager and oversee order placements, coordinate deliveries, process warranty claims, and assist customers with parts and service requests. I also provide support to our sales and office teams—whatever they need, I’m here to help!

Outside of work, you’ll often find me out on one of my motorcycles, at the gym, or volunteering. As a military brat, wife of a veteran, and mom of a paramedic, I’m particularly passionate about supporting organizations that provide aid to veterans and first responders. For me, it’s all about giving back and making a difference.

With over a decade of experience as a professional bookkeeper and a range of accounting certifications, including QuickBooks Online for Accountants, I bring precision and passion to everything I do. I’m always eager to deepen my expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest in the accounting world.

When I’m not balancing the books, you can find me rolling around on my rollerblades or whipping up delicious meals—because cooking is my love language!

As Park N Play’s Design Manager, I’ve had the pleasure of leading an incredible team of talented designers for the past three years. I’m passionate about bringing creativity and innovation to every project we take on, helping to create play spaces that inspire and engage communities.

Originally from Airdrie, Alberta, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, which helps me understand the impact of play on child development and community well-being. Outside of work, I’m an avid reader and love to travel. One of my favorite adventures was spending a month living in a van in New Zealand with my closest friends. During the summer, you’ll often find me at the lake, enjoying time with family and friends.

Hi, I’m Andrew! As a Red Seal carpenter with a passion for all things construction, I’ve spent over a decade in the industry refining my skills. From superintendent to project and district management roles, I’ve learned the importance of building a culture on the job site that makes everyone excited to show up each day.

When I’m not managing playground builds, you’ll find me at the lake with friends and family, playing a round of golf, or out riding my motorcycle—because life’s too short not to play! I also enjoy spending time with my two wonderful dogs and two cats, who always keep life interesting.

I'm the dude behind the marketing magic at Park N Play Design, where I help our fantastic team bring playgrounds to life across Canada. From creating captivating campaigns to crafting strategic visions, I thrive on turning big ideas into reality. With a passion for growth and a drive for results, I’ve set ambitious goals to make Park N Play a household name—and I’m not stopping until we hit them.

When I’m not strategizing or crafting a new campaign, you’ll find me pushing my limits in the gym, running outdoors, smashing it on the pickleball court, or diving into a good book. I’m all about personal development, having transformed myself from borderline obese to being in the best shape of my life. Whether it’s fitness, business, or life in general, I believe in setting the bar high and never backing down.

And while I love the hustle, I also know the importance of a little play—because the best ideas often come when you’re having fun. So, here’s to building not just playgrounds, but communities, dreams, and a whole lot of joy!

Michelle founded Park N Play Design in 2002.

As a forward thinking entrepreneur who loved being outdoors, it made perfect sense to Michelle to build a career doing what she loved - designing and building exceptional play spaces.

After raising two children, Michelle understood the influence a well-designed play space had in the development of healthy, confident, and well-rounded children. She turned that understanding into a corporate philosophy at Park N Play Design.

Throughout the years Michelle has inspired her team to practice "Thoughtful Design" in creating innovative, barrier-free playgrounds and splash parks that benefit the social, emotional, developmental, and physical well-being of all users.

Since 2002, Michelle's love of parks and outdoor play spaces has flourished as she continues to educate herself and her team on industry best practices and innovative products and designs.
